New Hartford Senior High has earned
the highest national
honor a public school may receive from the United States
Department of Education.
The high school has been named a "2016 National Blue Ribbon School."
The school was one of nine high schools recognized in New York State.

The New Hartford the Board of Education welcomed and approved a resolution to end Mr. Ripa’s administrative leave, voting unanimously to reinstate him to his position during its regular meeting on November 15, 2016. Mr. Ripa’s reinstatement is effective November 21, 2016.
Admirers of human right’s advocate Helen Sperling filled Ralph Perry Junior High School’s Large Group Instruction room the evening of October 18, 2016. The occasion marked the dedication of the facility in honor of Sperling, a noted Holocaust survivor and long-time friend of the New Hartford Central School family.
